GUEST RULES

Sign In and Responsibility
1. All guests must be accompanied by a member of the club and be signed in at the front desk. It is the member’s
responsibility to sign all guests in at the front desk.

2. A guest arriving before the member should wait on the second floor near the Pro Shop until the member arrives.

3. The hosting member is responsible for the behavior of the guest.

4. A guest cannot remain at the club unless accompanied by the hosting member or responsibility is specifically
transferred to another member with the approval of the club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

5. At Club manager’s discretion, any person may be removed.

General Family Membership Guest Policy
1. Guests are permitted three visits to Bailiwick per month, only one of these may be on a week‐end or a holiday.
Holidays are considered a week‐end visit. This is the Club’s General Guest Policy and the hosting membership
unit will incur a regular guest fee for these visits.

2. Guests may visit the Club more often than the Club’s General Guest Policy allows. When a guest visits the club
in excess of the General Guest Policy, the hosting membership unit will incur an excess guest fee for each visit.

3. Each membership unit is entitled to bring up to twelve guests on any given day.

4. The cost of the Member/Guest tournament will include the guest fee for the guest player in Member/Guest
tournament. This also applies to Single members.

5. The Club Manager shall inform the hosting member of any guest that is not acting appropriately or within the
rules of the Bailiwick Club.

6. If a violation is reported to the Board for further action by the Club Manager, the Board will determine the
appropriate punishment for any violation of the club rules.

Exception to the Guest Policy Last approximate two (2) weeks of June
1. During the last 2 weeks of June, a membership unit cannot have more than 3 guests at a time without specific
permission from the Club manager. If permission is not given in advance, the Club Manager, at his discretion, may
ask the guests to leave.

2. During the last two weeks of June, guests may not visit the Club more often than allowed by the General Guest
Policy and may not exceed this limit.

Guest Policy Regarding Family Members
1. Parents/Grandparents of Family members are permitted anytime, without charge, as long as they do not play
tennis. Parents of members must always be accompanied by a member. Tennis is allowed without fee after 2:00 p.
m.

2. Children/Grandchildren of Family members and their spouses have guest privileges that allow up to three
weekend days or holidays per month. Any guest visits in excess of this fall under the regular fee schedule.

3. The spouse or child(ren) of a single membership unit is required to pay a guest fee, except if only visiting for
lunch, or the single member has entered and paid for participation in a tennis tournament, and family members
attend only as match spectators.


4. Immediate Family members (specifically, spouses, resident significant others, and children under age 26) of
Single Members may attend the Club as a Guest of any Club Member no more than three times total per
summer per individual.  (Attendance at the Mid-Summer Party shall be an exception to this rule, and shall not
count towards the three visit maximum.)
