MAIN POOL RULES
1. All issues should be brought to the attention of the Club Manager, Assistant Club Manager, or Pool Director.
2. Lap Lane Rules
a. There are 2 lap lanes - lap lane #1 is by the far-end of the pool, nearest to the playground area.
b. Lap lane #2 is closer to the center of the pool. - Lap lane #2 remains as an adult priority lap lane at all
times. If an adult wishes to swim, the lifeguards will clear the lane of non- lap swimmers.
c. Lap lane #1 will be adult priority lap lane swimming only during the following times: 10 AM to 12 Noon, and
4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Sunday (all days), except during swim team practices. During lap lane
swim times, if there is a swimmer in lap lane #1, then standing or walking will not be allowed in Lap lane #1, it
is restricted to swimming.
d. At all other times, lap lane #1 will not be reserved for lap lane swimming.
3. No eating food, including ice cream, in the pool area or on the deck. Beverages are permitted in plastic or
paper cups. Glass containers of any sort are absolutely prohibited within the pool enclosure.
4. Children under the age of 3 and those not toilet trained are not permitted in the Main Pool. Lifeguards are
required and will ask any adult if they believe the child is under the age of 3.
5. All children not yet toilet trained must wear Swim diapers in the Kiddie Pool. Swim Diapers are available in the
Lifeguard Shack for anyone needing them.
6. Changing diapers is expressly forbidden anywhere but in the locker rooms.
7. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied or supervised at the pool and surrounding areas by a parent
or competent sitter at all times.
8. Floatation devices are not allowed (i.e. the orange and white inflatable tubes that go around the child's arms,
inflatable inner tubes, or leg floatation devices). Floatation devices such as life jackets, foam belts, foam vests,
etc. , that are part of the bathing suit will be allowed, but the parent must stay within arm's reach of the child at all
times. The lifeguards have the authority to not allow a floatation device if they feel it is a safety issue.
9. Lifeguards have the authority to take away the swimming privileges of any person who is endangering himself or
other by not adhering to the rules of the pool.
10. No running or pushing on the deck; no roughhousing in the pool.
